All Aboard?  Lets Tuck In!

Tucked away behind the almost ghost-town that was Coventry Airport is a little old plane that allows its passengers to experience plane food without the fuss of Checking In... Excess Luggage Drama... Security Checks or Stomach Churning Take-offs and above all food that TASTES like food!

Open Tuesday to Sunday, DC-6 DINER is definitely an interesting place to dine.
The good, the bad and the ugly???
On arrival the service is brilliant.  Menus, drinks and order-taking was at the speed of lightening... and when the food finally came was worth the wait... the best surf and turf ever!  Preferring my steak well done, I have gotten used to some restaurant's interpretation of burnt well-done steak and so expected a char-grilled / burnt steak but to my surprise I got the most succulent steak ever  and cooked to perfection too.  I'll definitely be back for that!

On arrival at the airport, locating the Diner was a bit of a mission and the directions did not help at all... needs serious improvement. The wait for the food was almost unbearable, nearly an hour we waited, not too sure whether the kitchen staff was just on a go slow or whether it was because most of the diners had come in at the same time... Again improvement required in that area.

And the highlight of the afternoon was checking out the cockpit!  Definitely an Eat Fly Vogue experience for me..... Will be back!
