Kente

Kente is a traditional fabric from Ghana and is renowned for its vibrant colours and unique print.   Being African ourselves we have always loved this material, and where soooo over the moon when we received this fabric as a gift.  We love it so much that we have found it hard to have anything made from it in case it does not turn out the way we envisaged and ends up being wasted... But rather than let it sit in the closet we have found loads of other use for it including as a top, a scarf and as a headwrap in the post, when-tribal-met-chic.

With this outfit the fabric has been worn as a halterneck top and we are loving those earrings; they add that 'African Queen' touch to the outfit we think!!
